The CA compliant SIG SAUER P229R Enhanced Elite 9MM compact pistol combines the ergonomic one-piece gripstake with the same features common to all Elite series pistols.
The P229R Enhanced Elite Compact adds SIG’s Short Reset Trigger or SRT, building on the exceptional reputation of out-of-the-box accuracy. The SRT provides you the same smooth action and great safety of the SIG DA/SA. The SRT provides a comfortable short reset for surgical control and faster trigger return during high speed shooting. The P229R Elite compact comes with two magazines and SIGLITE Night Sights, and features front strap checking and a beavertail frame.
The SIG SAUER P229R incorporates all the features of the P226R in a smaller, more compact package. Originally designed to meet the needs of law enforcement, today’s P229R has been engineered to meet the most demanding reliability standards while delivering the highest possible performance.
