The Arsenal AK74 Jubilee Series
A collaboration between Arsenal Inc. and Izhmash resulted in the Jubilee Series. Mikhail Kalashnikov himself personally oversaw the project. The initial manufacturing was in Russia and then by Arsenal Inc perfected the Izhmash Jubilee Gold Edition AK74 5.45X39mm rifle’s final configuration in the U.S. after the initial manufacturing was done in Russia.
To commemorate Mikhail Kalashnikov’s 90th birthday, 500 Jubilee rifles were produced. The 35th anniversary of the development and fielding of the AK-74 series rifles coincided with Mikhail Kalashnikov’s 90th birthday. Mikhail Kalashnikov’s signature is engraved in each rifle, and in Kalashnikov’s honor, each serial number begins with MTK. The first 100 Jubilee 5.45X39mm rifles were finished to Gold Edition standards, the remaining 400 were dedicated to the Silver Edition.
What is an Arsenal AK74 Gold Jubilee?
There has been a tremendous amount of attention to detail and extra work put into every Arsenal AK74 Gold Jubilee. These 100 rifles are the finest examples of AKs in the world! Each component used in the Jubilee Series rifles were hand selected and inspected for perfection. All metal surfaces were coated with an eye catching, glossy black finish that was developed specifically for the Arsenal AK74 Jubilee Series. The right side of the receiver features engravings dedicated to the 90th birthday of Mikhail Timofeyevich Kalashnikov, the 35th anniversary of the AK-74 rifle, and carry Dr. Kalashnikov’s signature as well as the Izhmash Factory logo! Each of the 100 Arsenal AK74 Gold Jubilees were engraved by Mikhail Timofeyevich Kalashnikov personally.
All Gold Jubilees feature black polymer furniture, which matches the original MIL-SPEC standard. The engravings are filled with a beautiful Gold color that gives these AK74 rifles a captivating look. Each AK74 rifle in the Jubilee Series has a Certificate of Authenticity endorsed by Lieutenant General Mikhail Kalashnikov. These select components are fine polished and coated with a bright Gold finish:

How collectable are Arsenal AK74 Jubilee rifles?
